Frequently Asked Questions

True Cadence CIC is a social enterprise that provides music business workshops and activities to young people from under-resourced communities.

When a programme reaches its funding goal, it allows us to conduct an additional one outside our privately funded programmes. You will get photos of the project taking place and feedback on the outcome. Give over £50 and if the donation is spent on the Coast 2 Coast Masterclass, you will receive exclusive music content from the programme.

All our projects are carefully planned, and our staff and volunteers are also well vetted. We account for every £ spent and also ensure that the programme is also delivered in a timely manner

Yes, please Contact Us with more details on the offer OR call 02037275134.

We raise funds for our core programmes at an ongoing basis, therefore the donation links for them will always remain active. However, for partially funded temporary programmes, donors can:

  1. Choose a new project to support.

2.Have us choose a new project for them.

Our Mission is to unearth the hidden talents of young people in our under-resourced communities through music education.

We have our core programmes such as the Music Industry Masterclass, Kids Create, Coast 2 Coast Masterclass, Music & Mindfulness etc. Outside these programmes, we also run one-off projects and conferences depending on our community’s arising needs. All regular and completed projects are permanently stored in the Project Archives

You can give as little as £1 and get the same level of choice, transparency and feedback that is traditionally reserved for someone who gives millions.

We work with schools, Youth Offending Teams (YOTs), Young carers, Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), local community centres, young people Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEETs) etc.

Our beneficiaries are located in various boroughs across East London. We also accept private bookings from clients all over the country.

In Summary…

Like many young people from working-class communities, our founder Emmanuel Ebokosia (better known as Manny) grew up around crime and deprivation, so he knows what it’s like not to have the opportunity to showcase your talent. However, music has always kept him on the right side of the law and being able to write down his thoughts, helped him to remain focused and also improved his mental health.

While acquiring his Master’s Degree in Music Industry Management and Artist Development, Emmanuel wanted to give back to his community by using both his academic and practical experience in the music industry to support young people. This became the very platform that TC was built upon.
