Beats & Boroughs Continues: Strengthening Music Networks in East London

Following a successful pilot, we’re thrilled to announce the continuation of our Beats & Boroughs event series, supported by the Foundation for Future London’s Westfield East Bank Creative Futures Fund, funded by Westfield Stratford City.

Between October 2023 and July 2024, we explored music opportunities for young people in Barking and Dagenham, comparing access across East London boroughs where we operate. We captured young people’s voices on what’s working and what needs to change, culminating in a networking event that brought together young people, music leaders, funders, and organisations.

With continued support from FFL, we’re building a music network where providers can collaborate to create inclusive, creative, and professional opportunities for local young people.
