This 5-week FREE Songwriting Workshop for Kids aged 8-12 is designed with one goal in mind: to help you unleash your creativity from a young age and write a song everyone will love. By collaborating, you can tap into diverse ideas and add new dimensions to your work. This will make your creative work more exciting, especially if the past ones all sound the same.
You mustn’t have a great voice to be eligible for the collaborative songwriting workshop; all you need a passion for songwriting. We encourage parents whose kids have shown passion and proficiency in songwriting or vocal coaching to take advantage of this opportunity. The application is free. If you are curious to hear a song from some of the kids we’ve worked with, check out one of the videos on our YouTube Channel.
Our Songwriting workshops will help you:
- Conquer your fears about having your work critiqued by others
- Develop your songwriting skills and learn to write better songs
- Put your feelings down on paper clearly and poetically
- Spark new ideas and creative inspiration by working with other songwriters
- Meet music experts who may connect you with new artists or even big names in the industry
By the end of the songwriting workshop, participants will have gained the skills, knowledge, and confidence to write songs for renowned artists in the industry.

Working on an EP with other members of True Cadence dramatically improved my songwriting skills. It gave me the confidence to be vulnerable and write songs that were inspired by some of my darkest times.
