Volunteer With Us – Make a Real Difference in East London

Be part of something meaningful across East London, with most activities taking place in Barking and Dagenham. Our volunteers support young people through music, creativity and community projects, from after-school clubs to outreach and local events.

Many roles involve in-person support, particularly community outreach such as flyer distribution and engagement with local residents. For this reason, we are especially looking for people who can travel to Barking and Dagenham regularly.

Youth Workers
Support young people during sessions and activities, helping create a safe, positive and engaging environment.

Social Media Assistants
Help manage and grow our online presence by posting content, engaging with followers and promoting activities.

Content Creators
Create photos, graphics or written content that showcases our programmes and impact.

Corporate Fundraisers
Help identify and approach businesses that may support our work through sponsorship, partnerships or donations (no door-to-door fundraising).

Community Outreach Coordinators
Support local outreach efforts, including flyer distribution, community engagement and building local connections.

Digital Marketers
Assist with campaigns, newsletters and online promotion to help reach more young people and supporters.

Event Support Assistants
Help set up and run events, welcome attendees and ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.

Photographers
Capture high-quality photos at sessions and events to document our work and celebrate participants.

Videographers
Film sessions, performances and events, helping us tell powerful stories through video.

After-School Club Assistants (Primary)
Support fun, creative sessions for younger children, helping them feel included, confident and engaged.

After-School Club Assistants (Secondary)
Support sessions for older young people, encouraging creativity, leadership and positive participation.
