This is an exciting opportunity to strengthen your administrative and project management skills by assisting in the running of specific grassroots community music projects. The role will include planning, implementing, monitoring the programme, and assisting with the recruitment and selection of participants and facilitators. You will need to have excellent organisational and project management skills, and willing to further develop through training and active participation. You will need to be able to form relationships quickly and work with openness and integrity. Above all, you’ll be passionate about music and helping our young people to develop their creative skills. The ideal candidate must have some knowledge of the music industry, and at least one year experience of successfully delivering (or assisting in the delivery of) community projects.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme Management and Administration:
- Devise a clear programme management plan to identify key activities, deliverables, budgets, stakeholders, and timelines in line with funder’s requirements and True Cadence’s priorities.
- Manage and monitor the programme and maintain up-to-date records of progress against the plan, whilst escalating issues, risks, and mitigation strategies in consultation with Project Manager and Management.
- Manage the programme budget, including processing all receipts and invoices where necessary.
- Produce and update as necessary all documentation for use in programme delivery.
- Work with the project management team to identify opportunities for quality improvement, efficiencies, and areas where value can be added to the project.
- Ensure systems and processes are in place if any issues arise within the project lifespan.
- Ensure successful completion of project within time and budget constraints.
- Write end-of-project report, documenting success stories, challenges, and recommendations for similar future projects.
Programme Monitoring & Evaluation:
- Work with the project management team including the Project Manager and CEO to design and deliver a programme monitoring and evaluation strategy to meet funder requirements and to capture internal learning for improvement for True Cadence.
- Assist with collating information for funder reports including narrative, progress against outcomes, and lessons learned.
- Ensure accurate records maintained in CRM and other systems.
Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with staff, volunteers and beneficiaries of the programme.
- Oversee and be the primary point of contact for True Cadence’s assigned project’s stakeholders – staff, beneficiaries, and partners.
- Attend meetings with project team and management to report on programme progress, outcomes, achievements, and lessons learned.

- A music lover, an artist or someone with some knowledge of the music industry
